Founded in 1979 by Mark F. Guidobono Sr., Cambridge Homes, Inc. is a design/build company building high-end custom homes and exclusive developments in Southeastern Michigan.
Mark is a graduate of Michigan State University. He has worked as a builder/developer for over 40 years. In addition to building prestigious home communities, Mark has served in the role of General Contractor on 30 commercial projects. Over his career, he has been honored with awards for Builder of the Year and Development of the Year and more.

Team members
Growing up around the jobsite working as a laborer in the summers gave Mark a great appreciation and experience in the industry. After graduating from Central Michigan University studying Financial Planning and Real Estate Development and Finance, he worked for a couple nation home builders for a few years before joining his dad in 2019. Mark is currently on the board of directors for the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan and won Young Builder of the Year in 2023.
Sheldon has been in new home construction sales for over 35 years and has been with Cambridge Homes since 2019. Previously, he was a national sales manager for a building conglomerate and Sheldon’s team produced approximately one thousand new home sales per year in Michigan, Florida and Arizona. Currently, Sheldon serves as our Sales Manager and is responsible for pairing people with their dream home or helping them create a custom home from scratch with the help of our architects. He is currently a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Michigan.
Paula has been with Cambridge Homes since 1990 and has been a cornerstone of our company ever since. She started out assisting customers with all the necessary selections for their home and then transitioned to our Executive Assistant, Bookkeeper and doing all of the behind-the-scenes work required to keep the day-to-day operations moving. She is a pleasure for our team, customers, vendors, suppliers and so on to work with.
Joy is our most tenured employee and has been with Cambridge Homes since 1986. Like Paula, during her time her she has served many roles and has been instrumental to our success and evolution as a company over time. During her time here she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in several different areas of the building industry. Currently, Joy is responsible for working with our customers to pick all the selections in their home by coordinating with suppliers, venders and our interior designers.
